I need an idea for an addicting, fun game.

How about 9 man morris? easy "equipment", simple rules, s/b ez ai. The community does not have a copy in "scratchforge". Actually the game is addictive. Mechanics are somewhere between checkers and tic-tac-toe, but with a twist all its own. The game goes back to the Romans. Wikipedia quotes Ovid or some such claiming that the chicks dig it. I was going to save it for myself, but if it appeals, please feel welcome.
I assume any game centered around penguins or ice would have been in really bad taste.
May I ask what research you are doing down there?
