Packet support

In the future, does Scratch ever pan to support the sending of packets across IP connection? If so, I'd like to port my MMO example from GameMaker and XNA to Scratch.

Also, why does the online player laaaag so much? Is this from Java or from too many

<forever> blocks.

Rithix: This doesn't fully answer your question, but as it is right now it is possible to establish a socket connection with Scratch and thereby communicate with websites, etc., via middleware. See:
