I guess this fits here...
Viacom (Who Owns Nick, MTV, BET, Spike, etc.) wants you to pay over 30% more for their channels.
That’s over $1 BILLION on top of what you already pay for not only MTV and Nickelodeon, but also all of their other channels that you might never watch.
These channels are:
Palladia, Centric, Tr3s, CMT, Logo, NickToons, VH1 Classic, TeenNick, Nick Jr., Nick@Nite, Spike, BET, VH1, TV Land, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and MTV.
Tonight, Viacom could remove these channels from DirecTV.
Switching providers won't work either.
Switching providers will only make it easier for programmers to increase your cost no matter who you get your TV service from.
Discuss this madness.

i dont watch much television anyway so i guess im good

It seems pathetic. Both Viacom and DTV are running a smear campaign against each other instead of working to cooperation.

This doesn't affect me in the slightest, as I have Shaw Direct, not DirecTV.
I used to have it many years ago, though.

Also, Nick owns Legend of Korra.
So, if we lose it...

I don't think so. This forum is for discussion of specific books, games and other media that you are enjoying that you would like to share with your fellow Scratchers. This seems more like a political or rant type of discussion - which doesn't fit in the scope of our forums, currently. You might want to make a project about it, if you want to continue the discussion.
