Hello, folks.
I'm wondering if anyone knows when or if remote sensor connections will be available in scratch 2 (not 1.4). I've written some software that listens for broadcasts from Scratch on port 42001. The software does it's job with Scratch 1.4 but I'm hoping to get similar results with 2.0.
Thanks,
Matt

Unfortunately, Remote Sensors Connections will not be in 2.0. However, on the bright side, I will make a Scratch 2.0 modification to add this

If there are wedo sensors their will be but if not no.
RMSC were made for the wedo sensor and over time us ATers have discovered a way for a program to connect to scratch and some have even striped the scratch program to find these secruts so to have more help to find more about this becume a ATer
Wedo → Yes
No Wedo → no
Nice arrows arn't they

I'd be interested in seeing that modification. I need to make some modifications to the source code of either 1.x or 2.x as well. I was hoping to work with 2.0 (since it's in ActionScript and not squeak... I'm not a fan of smalltalk-like languages).

Maybe you should cite this? Sources?
I'm pretty confident that Scratch 2.0 (or maybe later in the 2.x series) RSC will be implemented.

Well, you suggested it on Scratch Suggestions, and Lightnin marked it as denied...

Ah... I haven't been on that site for many many months.
Here's the suggestion: http://suggest.scratch.mit.edu/forums/6 … onnections
Edit: After thinking about it for a bit, the way he worded it says that there is going to be a new protocol. Except that protocol probably will only use the Scratch Servers.

There isn't going to be the option to connect to a picoboard? My mom just wasted 40 dollars on one of those things!
with how good AT is getting it'll be a matter of hours until someone make RSC for scratch 2.0!
