It was going to be international.

It doesn't matter, because since ACTA isn't passing, people will simply look for something new to protest about.

The problem is the protesting.
It's ACTA and it does matter that it's not going to pass.

I would be really glad about that, but CISPA kind of does the same thing.

There've been 5 bills.
We've destroyed 4 out of 5 so far.
S. 679 or whatever
SOPA
PIPA
ACTA
then there's still CISPA.
We've taken them out, c'mon guys.
We can take on CISPA.

Here's the problem: SOPA and PIPA (being American, I wasn't as aware of ACTA) met extreme negative response. Remember the Wikipedia blackout, or the redacted Google picture? CISPA has actually met positive responses! It is supported by Apple and Facebook, just to name a few of them. This one will be far harder to kill. Hopefully, the positive criticism won't be so much that Obama's promised veto will be rendered ineffective.

Well, this topic isn't really something you're reading so it doesn't fit in here; perhaps you can share the newspaper article that you read to obtain the information?

Well, enough time has passed for a link to be posted, if there's nothing to read, then this isn't really a Reading or Playing topic. Closing thread.
