Do you guys think I should create a new software company like Blue Cloud Productions Inc. or Futuresight Technologies? (Boing would be one of our programs, and we would obviously give credit to Scratch. I would also not want to pay for anything, or have people pay us for things, so we could use a co.cc domain.) It would be called FunTechnologies Inc. If you think so, then reply to this topic saying I should. If you would like to help develop it, please reply to this topic with a post including why you should be apart of the team.

I'd like to develop. reason: I have recently gotten into a lot of different advanced web design/programming and need to practice my skills in order to get better. This would be the perfect opportunity.

This sounds like a great initiative guys, and I hope for you that it goes well! Unfortunately your enthusiasm also raises a couple of concerns for me.

First of all I would like to point out that, although it might seem like a cool experience, companies are not something that should spring up for fun; they are the consequence of a necessity. For example, my first company SilviSoft (that eventually merged into FutureSight) was born to group up all of the software I made.

Secondly I sincerely hope that the legitimate birth of these last companies (that happened for a reason) won't ignite a company-fashion. It's nice to waste time once in a while, but we need to remember to make the difference between those who actually work for their company and those who make one for fun. Otherwise it inevitably discredits the whole idea.

I made it so that I could give out programs free of charge to help them. And I really wanted to do one of these to get the experience.

it's not illegal, and we're not selling anything, so I don't think it would be that much of a problem.

inc. can stand for anything really. I have a collaboration called Eternity Inc., but we make it clear that we aren't incorporated in various points throughout our website, and instead call it eternity incurakai.
