Hey guys! Long time so see? Well, I was trying to set up a web server on my computer, because 000webhost is taking weeks to verify my website, so I decided to just host one on my computer. I'm using Apache, and I got through everything. My only problem is, while I can see my website by going to localhost, I can't see my website by using my IP address: 24.152.212.71 (I hope we don't have any hackers here
) The only problem that I know that it could be, is that I'm not wirelessly connected to the internet, so I couldn't port forward. Is there something else I have to do instead, or should I be good? Does anyone else know what the problem is?

Are you sure you're not connecting to the internet through a router of any kind?

I am, but not wirelessly, and when I try to go to my routers page, it doesn't load.
I just have it connected to my router with Cat 5. (I think it's called)

You'll need to port forward still; it doesn't matter if it's wireless or not. Are you sure that you're trying to connect to the right internal IP for your router?

Positive. Maybe I'm thinking I don't have to port forward if I'm connected to my modem?
I'll just go on my other computer and do it I guess
brb.
Edit: I must have done something to my router. It's page just keeps loading just like on my other computer
Edit: On my routers manual it says I can access the router by also going to http://router/ But it takes me HERE!

Good idea. I did just move my router to another room, so maybe that's why?
Edit: Worked
Now just have to see if I can port forward. I can only do it some days. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Edit: As far as I know, I'm port forwarded. Can you try going Here quick veggie, and see if it worked?

Hmm. Back to square one I guess. Maybe I just port forwarded wrong again

It should be working now.
Edit: Wait, but it's not working for my friend. Just me...
What's the IP?

I was reading something that said I had to open ports 80 AND 443. I guess it's worth a shot...
Edit: Alright, I forwarded that port too.
Edit: It works on every computer in my network, but I went on 3G on my phone, and got a 502 error.
