I'll add Pizza, Spaghetti, Lasagne, Chocolate, Bacon, Fried Eggs, Tabasco, Lamb steak, water, ice cream, that's it for now

People have put forward some good arguments for the validity and relevance of this topic so I'll re-open it. Several people pointed out that Paddle2See had stated this was the right place for this sort of discussion, which I hadn't heard about, and one person pointed out that I wouldn't want to seem against toast, would I? I'll check to see what the ST think too.

actually when i said you "wouldnt want to seem against toast" i was referring to the idea that if this thread was left open and the old "top 502 breakfast foods" wasnt it would seem as if you were against the toasts who created the old one :P

Breakfast foods was closed because there was a lot of spammy stuff going on beyond the simple discussion of the foods.
However, I would like to point out that these forums are for discussion of things that you are enthusiastic about and that inspire you. I'm beginning to think that polls might not qualify as "inspiring" anybody. Particularly when I see them being applied to things like foods - and even breakfast foods. We'll keep this one open for now and see how it goes. Let's not push the boundaries too hard
