what does the sqrt and sin block do(numbers)?

i know its stupid, but i haven't learnt and when i click on help it says they're mathematical. please help!  > yikes

when i receive [start v]
forever
 if <(noobiness) = [3]>
  switch to costume [costume2 v]
  stop script
 end
end

Well, these are mathematical sum blocks, sqrt is the square root, it will simply tell you the square root of a number. The other like sin and cos, are used for other math equasions, I am not a mathematician, so, no doubt someone will tell you in detail  big_smile
