I hate how on the main website, it says [...] days/months/years ago. I'd rather just see the exact date, it'd be a lot more useful for people who are trying to figure out exactly when they released their project to scratch for things like articles, or documentation. What do you think?

Not much else to say...

I only agree as long as they add a timezone setting on the main site; otherwise all the dates and times would be in a single timezone that wouldn't be the same as everyone's.

It should be optional to whichever user is using it. And someone pointed out a time zone issue: it could be easily adjusted to your time zone.

Exact dates would be nice, though it could be a bit lengthy on the page :S At least Scratch 2.0 will have wider pages (If I remember correctly)

I agree with Jonathanpb. It would be nice to have both because it's nice to have it say how long ago it was so you don't have to do math or figure out when it was. But an exact date would be nice maybe out of the way.

I agree. I think that they should make scratch blocks that can access the current time and date also.

but there's another problem.
would it be mm/dd/yyyy
or dd/mm/yyyy?
there should also be an option to choose between the two
also,
would this work for comments? or just projects? or perhaps another option?

I assumed it would say like "June 29th 2012"
