Gibberish Generator

http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Molybdenum/2640369

This program is a Markov text generator (see link in notes).

Most of the info is in the notes, and I don't want to repost it here. Basically, you give it a string, and it outputs gibberish based on your input like my Learning Chatbot.

As an example, when I gave it this:

Scratch is a free educational programming language that was developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It can be downloaded here.

Users program in Scratch by dragging blocks from the block palette and attaching them to other blocks like a jigsaw puzzle. Structures of multiple blocks are called scripts. This method of programming (building code with blocks) is referred to as "drag-and-drop programming".

The next version of Scratch, Scratch 2.0, will probably be released later this year.

Scratch has a website: scratch.mit.edu.

It outputed:

Re: Gibberish Generator

Bump... Anyone? I gave it the lyrics of still alive (portal) as input, and this was its output:

This was so happy for you Now Even though you Maybe you'll find someone else to stay inside Maybe you'll find someone else to pieces And threw every piece into a beautiful line And threw every mistake You just keep on time So delicious and moist Look at me I think of us Except the people who are still ALIVE Go ahead and killed me I look at me And I'm making a joke, ha ha, FAT CHANCE Anyway this cake And tore me And we're out of beta, we're out of all the people who are still ALIVE Go ahead and the good of all of cake is great It's so delicious and you broke my satisfaction Aperture Science and the things we do what we must because we can For the people who are dead I feel fantastic and you Now Even angry I'm still alive I'm not you Now Even angry I'm being so delicious and I'm GLaD, I think of data make a triumph I'm still ALIVE I'm not you just keep on trying till you make a beautiful line And believe me I was a fire As they burned it makes me still alive And the ones who are still alive I'm still alive Go ahead and you run out of beta, we're out of all of all the people who are still ALIVE And threw every mistake You make a neat gun For you Now Even angry I'm still alive STILL alive And I'm doing science and killed me I feel fantastic and I'm being so I'm not even though you Now Even angry I'm not you I've experiments to pieces And the ones who are still alive

Sorry about no line breaks, scratch doesn't like them.

I said that in my first post ever.
LOL. Just realized?  tongue  Anyway, that's why I picked it. But this is getting off-topic. I forgot to say, the above quote was with the gibberish generator V2. Here's something funny I saw when I copy-pasted the wikipedia article about wikipedia into the V2:

Main article: Reliability of Wikipedia (15.7%).

I see! Also, the wikipedia quote is very interesting! How biased is it?
Hooray for 42!
I proved that it was...a very very large number. Stating what number may cause a cataclysmic chain reaction, or it may not. 42% chance yes, 42% chance no, and 16% completely random chance. This is just one of the applications, but writing down the full equation on something/someone will render that object or person to be affected by the chance thing in every way possible.

I've said too much already.

I don't think that my program is biased toward anything [it doesn't know english...]. But the quote is funny.
And yes, 42 is a very interesting number.

By biased I meant wikipedia, but that's fine, I wasn't too clear.  wink

Lol? My favorite quotes:
"1977: The Wii."
"Dedicated hobbyists and Ian Bell, ushered in the mouse and Ultima (1981)." (this one actually is almost gramatically correct (except for the comma)!)
