fortune cookie fortunes

sometimes fortunes from fortune cookies are cheesy or boring
sometimes they say "☺a carrot a day may keep cancer away☺"
discuss fortunes from fortune cookies, whether they be bland and useless or absolutely ridiculous

They're all ridiculous, there are no fortune cookies in China where we claim there are. I've always found that funny, we create funny things as Americans that aren't even accurate. When I went to China the first time, I expected to see them everywhere, when in reality they didn't know what they were.  tongue

Yeah, fortune cookies were invented in California, I think. In China, they're pretty rare.

I don't really care for the fortunes. However, the fortune cookies themselves are some of the best tasting things I've ever had. Well, at least the ones I got.

My brother, even when he was little, liked Pokemon. Once, he got a fortune saying that he would never fight another battle in his life.  lol

I think I got that one once. I actually thought it was pretty normal.

The two strangest ones I got were "You will receive a fortune (cookie)" and "What is the speed of dark?" The "What is the speed of dark?" fortune was kind of an unusual fortune for me since it came from one of those uncommon dark-colored fortune cookies.

i just thought that the fortune was pretty funny, because nobody actually says that
"what is the speed of dark" isnt a fortune so much as it is a question
