Two years? You've joined the forums two months ago, and have 10 posts. You clearly didn't read the first post.

Well, they probably mean 2 years on the main site.

I said he joined the forums two months ago. I was supposing he joined the main site around an year ago, because most people from late 2010 say two years *-*

Guys, if you think that doing stuff like this is stupid, you SO wrong. Posting construstive advise, projects, and forums posts, it WILL pay off sooner then you probably think.
I did all of this stuff, and look at me now!

Yeah. In a way, I'd rather have the New Scratcher status-It'd force me to be more constructive, and I wouldn't be on Misc, which would probably be a good thing. I wonder if they'd demote me...

Maybe if you ask them directly.

Huddah huddah huh, hudda mmff?
(But if a New Scratcher had a lot of posts, wouldn't that make them a Scratcher faster?)
Depends-If they're all spam, no. If they're all helpful, probably.
I'd recommend starting to help more, and maybe stop with the Huddah huddah huh stuff. I think it's funny (I play TF2, it's an awesome game ), but it's kind of spammy, and that isn't really what the Scratch Team would pick to be a Scratcher early.
And thanks Daroach, glad it helped

4: For people that have been on for like 5 months and still aren't Scratchers

Okay. You've been on for 5 months, and you posted like, 5 posts a month. "Why am I not a Scratcher?" you may ask. Well, it's simple-If somebody only posted 25 times, the Scratch Team wouldn't have found them and put them as a Scratcher, or can't trust them yet, as they've been very inactive. You'll probably have to have around 200-300 posts before being a Scratcher. I mean, it's not official, it could be more, it could be less, but that's what I'm estimating. So, if that happened, don't make a thread complaining. Just post some more, and the ST will notice you've been on the site for quite a while, and probably promote you.
I was a New Scratcher for 8 months.
BTW, was this part written because of that?

Not because of your case specifically, but because many people were on for 5 months and said "I'VE BEEN ON FOR 2 YEARS Y I NOT NEW SCRATCHER"
( Had the urge )
And, you didn't post much-That's why you were a New Scratcher for 8 months.

Amazing.
The first account I made became a scratcher in 0 days.
This account became a scratcher in 1.
Problem?

I have a featured project (Maze Of Fungi) and I'm still a new scratcher...

Yeah, I know I haven't posted much on the forum (Been very active lately on the main site), but what about me having a featured project? I mean, it's not often that happens to New Scratchers.

You're not exactly a New Scratcher. And being a New Scratcher on the forums shouldn't have much to do with making good projects on the site, they're completely unrelated. If you spam projects on the site, it might mean you'd probably spam on the forums, but if you only make great games, it doesn't mean you'll only make great posts.
Anyways, post a little more and you'll be a Scratcher. It's worth the wait. And anyways, why'd you wait so long to join the forums?

Well, I only joined Scratch to make my Maze of Fungi project so I could finish my science project (Called TechYes) the fun way. Everyone else in my class did a boring Powerpoint
Since I plan to develop a major video game franchise, I decided I should stay, and eventually create a more fun game that would get featured. However, it came to me as a shock when my science project got featured. I didn't come to the forum until just recently because I didn't have much to discuss until now.
